Requirements for stainless steel oil pumps in chemical installations
(1) It must meet the requirements of flow, head, pressure, temperature, NPSH and other process parameters.
(2) Must meet the requirements of medium characteristics:
① For the transport of flammable, explosive, toxic or valuable medium pump, the shaft seal is required to be reliable or use no leakage pump, such as explosion-proof oil pump, magnetic drive pump, diaphragm pump, etc.
(2) For conveying corrosive medium pump, the flow parts are required to use corrosion resistant materials.
(3) For conveying the pump containing solid particle medium, the flow parts are required to use wear-resistant materials, and the shaft seal should be washed with clean liquid when necessary.
(3) Installation requirements must be met on site.
① For stainless steel oil pumps installed in the presence of corrosive gas, anti-atmospheric corrosion measures are required.
(2) For the corrosion resistant gear pump installed in the outdoor environment temperature is less than 20"C, the cold and brittle phenomenon of the pump should be considered, and the low temperature resistant materials should be used.
⑧ on the pump installed in the explosion area, should be based on the explosion area grade, explosion-proof motor.
(4) For factories requiring a major overhaul every year. The continuous operation cycle of stainless steel oil pump should not be less than 8000 hours. API 610(8th edition) specifies a minimum 3-year continuous service cycle for pumps used in the petroleum, heavy chemical and gas industries to accommodate a 3-year overhaul.
(5) The design life of the pump is generally at least 10 years. API 610(eighth Edition) specifies a design life of at least 20 years for centrifugal pumps used in the petroleum, heavy chemical and gas industries.
(6) The design, manufacture and inspection of pumps should comply with relevant standards and specifications. The commonly used standards and specifications are shown in Table 1-30
(7) The pump factory shall ensure the performance of the pump within the range of power supply voltage and frequency change. China's power supply voltage, frequency range is: voltage 380V 10%, frequency 50Hz 0.5%
(8) When determining the pump model and manufacturer, pump performance, energy consumption, reliability, price and manufacturing specifications and other factors should be considered comprehensively.
